Meryenda marami

This morning, Ate Jane brought in some homemade snacks (no pictures because we ate them all so quickly). It was delicious (masarap!). She told me that she and her mother woken upm at 3 am to start cooking! I could never. My favorite was the lumpia, but she also made sticky rice rolls and floating rice cakes (a name that everyone laughed at when translated from Tagalog).

I spent the rest of the day in the lab preparing samples and running UV-Vis for Hsiang’s malic acid experiment. This includes centrifuge, vortex, and the ultraviolet- visible spectroscopy itself. I didn’t leave the lab until 7 pm.
